It is scientifically documented in studies all over the world that most people do not act on early signs of declining wellbeing. Howdy’s philosophy is that an efficient solution not only requires a combination of digital tools and available consultants, it also needs to motivate ongoing reflection and reach out proactively to the people who need help. This is what we believe in, and our approach is described here
Howdy is multi-faceted and we have different products and components targeting different aspects of your organisation’s wellbeing journey. Let’s break it down and examine what happens, step by step.
Data is uploaded and invitations are sent to employees.
Employees complete registration, download app and participate in surveys.
Response team intervenes and reaches out to employees with low wellbeing.
Data is anonymised, compiled and presented to organisation for insights and statistics through the portal.
Response team once again intervenes and reaches out to managers of departments with low wellbeing.
Employee data is uploaded to Howdy, either manually or through a custom integration.
All employees are then invited to the system via email.
Data integrations can be customised to work with the company’s specific HR system.
Invitations have no end date, and users will be reminded of their invitation 1-2 times a month, or until account is activated
Employees participate in the WHO-5 wellbeing survey, the body survey and other custom surveys through our smartphone app or web app.
Answers are analysed and conclusions presented to the employee with meaningful context and an opportunity for reflection.
Once it again is time to answer and reflect, the employee will automatically receive a notification.
Notifications to employees can be sent through both email, sms and push. The standard time between wellbeing notifications are 15 days. Employees who continously do not participate will be put on a slower notification schedule until participation is restored.
Employees who report low mental or physical wellbeing, will automatically be contacted by a counselors from the response team and offered help in navigating their situation.
Employees access to their own wellbeing history, wellbeing resources, exercise libraries and more inside the app – all designed to help them maintain a healthy wellbeing.
Our counselors include more than 30 individual specialists from 16 countries across APAC, Europe and the USA.
Our counselors will call the employee a maximum of 4 times. If contact is not established calling will cease. New calls can be requested on-demand in the app. A follow-up call can be offered to the employee, should it be needed after the first counseling call.
All data collected through the surveys are anonymised, compiled into useful statistics and presented to the organisation through the portal.
This allows the organisation to see the wellbeing index – as well as other useful statistics – for each department and react immediately if wellbeing drops.
Managers of departments with a low wellbeing index are automatically notified and offered counselling with our management conselors – in order to help them navigate the situation.
Managers have access to a library of wellbeing resources tailered for assisting in optimising and understanding organisational wellbeing.
The organisation can see causes of low wellbeing – reported by the counsellors – in the heatmap, and get detailed insight into why wellbeing may be dropping.
This enables the organisation and individual managers to implement meaningful changes for a better wellbeing.
