F.eks. viser et studie at træer frigiver olier som har øger vores fysiske helbred og mindsker stress. En anden årsag til at naturen har superkræfter er måske, at natur ofte hænger sammen med fysisk aktivitet – og det har vi godt af. Naturen har i sig selv også en positiv indvirkning på os, studier viser at ophold i naturen hænger sammen med, at vi oplever færre negative emotioner. Dette taler altså for, at vi skal prioritere en gå-, løbe- eller svømmetur i naturen (skov, park, strand eller lignende) i vores hverdag.
